People ask us, “How did you become a lawyer (or a doctor or an air conditioning repair man)?” or “How did you catch that big fish?” We have stories about how those things happened.
Stories are a way for us to get to know people and for people to get to know us, even if it is in a small way. Stories can teach others; it can entertain; it can move people through a journey of emotions.
Always remember, TELL THE STORY!
It's always about "THE STORY"!

Greetings everyone. After some new inspiration from our meeting last night; especially from the youth who dive right into recording and being recorded, I went home and tried it!!! I looked around at my artwork and materials laying in the room, and suddenly realized the varied individual projects of clay, painting, drawings, and poetry (that Ive had through the years or are as recent as a week old), all have a story to tell when I combined them!!! There were some technological glitches in my adventure as I could not move around the room and tape while I read my poem, so I just made a bunch of videos, and figured they could be all combined into one (I hope so). It was so much fun, that I lost track of time, and I even had a belly roaring laugh at myself when I saw myself briefly on film. I still have to upload it, and figure out how to edit it, but it sure was worth staying up and letting a story unfold.....Cant wait to do it again!!!!!
